A trip to Porthgwarra - with more to follow tomorrow !

Today was forecast to be the best weather of the holiday weekend, so we went to Porthgwarra for  the day. The dogs love it there and we knew that the cafe was now open - although now under the management of the owners -  St Aubyns Estate, so all rather up-market and expensive, which is the way so many of the lovely homely cafes have gone - must be getting really old !
We have often sat here and eaten our sandwiches, or had a cup of tea and watched the waves crashing in - not today with the wind round to the North there were no waves at all !
Lots more photos tomorrow - too tired - or too much sun, but need to put my feet up !

  1. Thank you for posting some lovely photographs. My wife and I love taking our dog to Porthgwarra when we are in Cornwall. We try to visit the county twice a year and on our visit late last year we discovered that the cafe was going to be in different hands this year. I wish that we had applied to run it and offer walkers and tourists good food at a reasonable price. Some people in this country think that everyone has an endless pot of money. Keep uploading the lovely photographs.
