Thanks very much for the link to the amazing journey of the "Mystery". An incredible achievement in those times, or at any time! I'm a member of the Cornish Association of Victoria and learned about the original journey when the re-enactment took place in recent times.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots of the Olympic Torch Relay - both yours and your husband's. It's quite exciting to be close to the runners - gives you a feeling of national pride:)
I've been enjoying so much your lovely pictures of flowers, birds and stunning views of St.Michael's Mount. If/when I ever visit Cornwall, I think May would be a wonderful time to come:)
Morning Betty, May and June are indeed (I think) the best months to visit Cornwall, both the weather and the flowers xan be wonderful !
ReplyDeleteSadly this morning we've woken up to fog and damp, but it's due to clear later ! Sue
