PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.

A few surfers appearing as we walk in fron Men Dhu Point

  1. How nice to walk amongst these lovely wild-flowers and beautiful sea views late in the day.
    The newly arrived Cornish miners and their families must have missed these soft summer evenings when they started life in a very different (and more harsh) environment in this country, so far from home.

  2. Ah Betty, I think life was very hard here in those times and the terrain and weather was very harsh to those who had so little. I think our climate is not too dissimilar to Melbourne (I gather!)
