I had a quick wander around the garden as we got back from our dog walk
The Watsonias (no idea what type) are gradually recovering from their Winter chill and producing flower spikes - they flowered all Winter in our first couple of years here - but it's been too cold for them since - I gather they love moisture, so they'll definitely be feeling happy at the moment
The mature Echiums have really been knocked about recently, but are starting to flower - though not like the magnificent  spikes that flower on Scilly

  1. The Watsonias grow like weeds here. Love the colour of the Echiums.
