Orchids, at last !

We were amazed to find quite a large number of Early Purple Orchids alongside the coastal footpath, but when we later walked up the path to the usual Orchid Glade, there was only one rather tiny one - whether they are just late, or gone we shall see !

  2. Hi, we thought we might have missed them whilst we were away and since the weather has been so bad we haven't walked in that direction for quite a while as the cattle wreck the footpath. Sue

  3. Pretty flowers and gorgeous colour. How lovely that they just grow along the pathway.

    1. Hi Betty, I think that either birds or the cattle carry the seeds around as there was only one alongside the coastal footpath last year - they are lovely, but I gather very common - I had not seen one until we moved here ! Sue
