After the storm

We awoke to some nice sunshine and a bit less wind  - not much damage in the garden, although our largest and still in full flower Echium was lying prostrate on the lawn and the Arum Lillies are looking a bit the worse for wear !

  1. Interesting to catch up in what has been happening in your area as I've been on Scilly all week. It seems like we weren't the only ones with a bit of wind!!! It was excillerating to say the least but we also had some scorching hot days too plus a little rain. Loads of puffins on Annet and Men au Vaur. Lovely diamond jubilee celebrations on Holgates Green and brilliant walks as always. Hope you have better weather when you go.

    1. Hi GG We're off on Monday, hopefully on a nice calm sea - I'm packing for all weathers as the forecast seems to be mixed for the next week at least. So pleased there's loads of Puffins, we love to see them and try to get some photos - although they're never as good as the ones that people like Joe Pender etc take ! Sue
