Looking though my binoculars I could just about make out the fact that they had got both sails up, but at midday they set off into the fog going away from us - so we decided to nip into Falmouth for a "comfort stop" and a bite to eat to take back with us. When we returned to Pendennis Point we managed to get the car on the front row and were just in time to see them heading back towards us with the colourful spinnaker of Velsheda in the lead - with the bay much clearer - at least for a while.
