PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.
Hi Sue, Courageous II is based in Bristol City Docks - build on a Danish fishing boat hull the owner told me once.

Hi Chris, Thanks for the info - she certainly looked very smart, on a day when there were not as many of the traditional boats around she really stood out. Spotted The Matthew on TV to the side of the Jubilee Pagent - is she home yet? Sue
DeleteHi Sue, yes she's a pretty boat. I like watching her passing the office! We get a few of the old pilot cutters going up to Bristol too. Matthew made it home earlier this week - had a good west wind to 'shove' her up the Bristol Channel! She's got quite a few charters on in Bristol then down to Scilly for a week or so I understand. What happened to the 'Ruth' that was in Penzance for a number of years - she was a regular visitor up here. Chris

DeleteI've done a local search for the Ruth - it appears she stopped doing charters in 2010 and in 2011 only went to some of the Festivals - nothing at all for this year ! Possibly needs work and therefore money spending - wonder if she's somewhere in the middle of all the boats in The Wet Dock in Penzance - they're so crowded, it's a job to see ! Sue
