Wednesday - Pendennis Cup from St Anthony Head

Since we had decided to watch The Pendennis Cup Race from St Anthony Head - for a better view, we needed to get to The Roseland Peninsular - there are two ways, either go up the A30 to Truro, through Tresillian and up the hill & turn right, you have then got round the Creeks etc that block your way  - or you take the chain driven, eco friendly, King Harry Ferry, which is what we chose to do !
The road to St Anthony is very narrow and winding and we had several tricky moments before arriving at the National Trust Car Park up above the Lighthouse.  The view of Falmouth Bay from up there is superb as is the view of my favourite castle St Mawes - looking over The Percuil Rover
