SEAMOGS does have a ships cat! She was the committee boat for the 2013 Championships in Mounts Bay. Her owners live in Marazion and after the champiuonships, SEAMOGS cruised the Scillies and then Alderney, and Normandy and then back to her base in the Solent. SEAMOGS is a grand old lady, and is the last of the Nicholson 48 ketches built about 30 years ago. Hopefully she will be back in 2014.
ReplyDeleteGreat to know there is a ships cat !
DeleteThankyou so much for filling me in on the details of this lovely old boat - I had noticed that she'd made her way to Scilly as our friend Robin Mawer also took a photo of her and posted it on the Marine Traffic site. The great bonus of living here with a wonderful view of Mount's Bay is to be able to watch the many different vessels that pass by and then try to find out about them. Look forward to seeing Seamogs again in 2014. Sue Mason
