A drive along the North Coast Road to Zennor Head

After the sad confirmation of Pointer Dash's death, we decided we ought to retrieve all the posters as they had the owners mobile numbers on and we did not want them getting more mistaken sightings or hoax calls. We got all the ones we could find around Paul & Mousehole and today we set off through Penzance and out on the St Just road then out to the North Coast Road where we found them all over the place. As anyone who has driven this road (voted the most scenic drive in the UK last year) it is very very narrow and winding in places and Jim did a magnificent job managing to find spots to park whilst I jumped out of the car armed with my scissors (as many of them were fastened with plastic ties)  We stopped at Gurnards Head and spoke to the folks in the pub and several residents there who were very upset to hear the news and proceeded along the beautiful road that heads towards St Ives.
We stopped at Zennor to take the dogs for a walk and remove a few more posters.
As we walked along the footpath leading out to Zennor Head I noticed that the stream that runs down the valley was lined by a huge number of Indian Balsam plants - I think they're lovely, but they are regarded as a non indigenous pest as they spread rather like Japanese Knotweed, but are not as damaging !
