I had hoped to be able to spot a parking place alongside Marazion Marsh, but there wasn't one and as I drove past the huge Folly Field Car Park I realised that it was full and that the overflow one over the road was almost full as well - strange that as I drove through the town there was a space, so I stopped and took some photos from behind the Post Office.
It must have been really busy over on St Michael's Mount today
The storms have brought a huge amount of seaweed in here too, so they've cleared walkways to get to the various jetties and steps etc - still looks yuk ! It used to be gathered and used as fertiliser - no idea why it's no longer used when it's here in such abundance !
14 yrs ago, our first tripover, we walked the path from our inn to Marazion, and thisnis the first view of the Mount, will never forget it, had a man building a stone wall take a pic of us...lovely memory, thank you...suek
ReplyDeleteIt is a super spot - yesterday I took these photos with the lovely smell of pasties in the air as the seats were full of visitors munching away ! - What a visit to Cornwall is all about great pasties and great views ! Sue
DeleteSure is, now i want a pastie and cream tea from the bakery shop....suek
ReplyDeleteI would have thought the use of seaweed for fertiliser would be full of salt and not so good. Educate Me Sue.
