Cheeky little Turnstone was running along the waterline below the visitors who were eating their Cornish Pasties hoping for some crumbs - it got some, but the Gulls didn't - good !

  1. I loved watching these along the tideline on Town Beach in Scilly. Lovely little birds.

    1. Yes, loads of them over there, they are really cheeky if they get used to humans - remember them running under our feet at Padstow. Hope you enjoyed your day at the Olympics ! Sue

  2. They were amazing. We had tickets for Eton Dorney - rowing and saw the girls win their gold and then we had three morning sessions for athletics in the stadium though we gave one lot to our two boys. Such a fantastic atmosphere all over the Olympic park. Feel quite bereft now that it's finished but will look forward to the Para olympics.
I do love all your photos as we love Cornwall so much. Can't wait to get back down there again. Gaynor

    1. Morning Gaynor, so pleased that you enjoyed your Olympics experience - as did everyone who went evidently - never thought we'd pull it off so well - we watched TV far more than we should have done - and really enjoyed the coverage - even leaping out of our chairs on the odd occasion ! Cornwall not looking it's best today, but hopefully in will improve in a few days. Sue
