One last look back at this wonderful sight as we walk back, sadly it was starting to spit with rain so instead of going up to the Coast Watch Station as we usually do, it was back to the car.  We drove up the road and parked with a lovely view across the valley and ate our sandwiches.

  1. Gorgeous colours, even on a dull day. A bit different from yesterday's sunshine. Must be very annoying for the locals on such busy days! Your sunny pics are lovely. I love the peaceful photos you took on Thursday evening around the bay. You see it in so many moods. I really enjoy the photos and descriptions you post every day. Thanks for keeping us up-to-date with what is happening in your part of the globe. Of course, I'm especially interested in Cornwall:)
Today I will be visiting my son and daughter-in-law inn the hills to catch up with her parents who are visiting from Brisbane. They are both Cornish born, from Cambourne and Redruth. I'm also looking forward to taking some photos of camellias etc. weather permitting.

    1. Hello Betty, Certainly has been a week of changes, but the couple of stunning days have sent the visitors home happy and hopefully to return next year - we all complain, but on the other hand we like to meet so many people from all over the UK and of course the many German tourists who dearly love Cornwall - and of course we love to meet any blog readers who recognise not us but the dogs !
Do hope you have a lovely visit to your relatives - Cornish again - so many have left for your beautiful country - and as for Camellias - I really love them, our previous garden was full of them and come late Winter and Spring they were quite beautiful flowering down by the Tresillian Creek. Sadly the only one we have does nor flourish in the salt winds & spray.
