A walk to Mylor Yacht Harbour

We decided that since this was the last day of the fine weather we'd head out for the day. We drove to Flushing which is on the far side of the Penryn River from Falmouth. We parked and walked the dogs along the footpath which is alongside the Fal River Estuary which is known as The Carrick Roads.

One of the ferry boats heading into Falmouth - not sure where this one has been - possibly Trelissick or the tea garden at Smugglers Cottage
Lots of boats of all shapes and sizes out on the water with their owners wanting to take advantage of the super conditions today.
We seem to have taken far more photos on our way back when there was much more blue sky, but the views are the same ! Perhaps it was the thought of our lunch that kept us moving rather than stopping to take photos !
