PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.

Wondered what the mystery vessel that had been around way out in the shipping lanes - listing itself on the AIS only as 145 - I took these photos of it through the scope when it was around 15 miles out from us. It turns out it's the helicopter carrier HMS Illustrious and it's still zig zagging about. Judging by the upward curve of the deck on it's bow, I think it used to carry Harriers - but of course we don't have any of those any more !
Quite a fine evening once the rain clouds had moved on
