PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.
Ah, nostalgia again! My parents moved to Cornwall in the mid 60s after enjoying camping holidays in Porthleven. On the Rinsey Rd out of Porthleven there was a farmhouse, the very last house on the way out of the village, and the farmer had the clifftop field for the campers in the summer. Very primitive conditions, but a front row tent site and the view across Mounts Bay sold my parents on relocating from the south east to the south west, and I did my sixth form in Truro.
ReplyDeleteSaw a couple of caravans on a field up there where you described - don't know if it was the same field ! Sue
