The climb back to the car park !

If Cemeteries were rated for their views then I think this would be No. 1

  2. It's just past the Tate Gallery and up a long - very long and steep set of steps - or past the shorter stay Car Park right above Porthmeor Beach and follow the road up the hill alongside the Cemetery. The all day Car Park is alongside. It has appeared in several films - if it wasn't a Cemetery the land would be worth a huge fortune !

    1. It's the easiest side of St Ives to get to without traffic jams etc and there's the useful Car Park - although it does fill up quickly. Before we lived down here we had a holiday cottage and spent a lot of time at Carbis Bay and Porthminster Beach (including the cafe of course !) but I think we now prefer the Porthmeor side as there are so many contrasts of the rugged coast and the beautiful beach.
