We arrive at The Most Southerly Point of mainland UK - the cafe right on the point was really busy, so we had a nice lunch at the one just a little further up and then continued along the next section of the path.

  1. The cafe at the lizard is really good, great food and great views, plus they are dog friendly. My top place to eat a ploughman's and enjoy the scenery. We were there the only sunny day of our holiday. Thankfully i've still got my white bit under my watch to prove it was nice for a day!

    1. Hi Susan, yes We've had many a wonderful lunch at the lower cafe - especially the real diet killer of home made jam doughnut with clotted cream - yummy ! Fortunately Wavecrest now has a much better menu than before and both are dog friendly. Pleased that at least you still have a watch mark to prove that the sun did appear whilst you were here - feel really guilty that you travelled so far only to see mainly rain and fog ! Sue

  2. Sue,

Please don't feel guilty, it's no one's fault as to how the weather turns out. As long as I get a couple of weeks in Perranuthnoe to relax and cross stitch, then I'm one happy lady!
