Whilst down in the bottom of the valley there were some lovely deciduous trees as we walked up the track they were all larch or pine type trees.
A lovely dappled sunlight through the trees as we followed a waymarked Green route along the tracks.
This is the view from a wonderfully sited bench looking along the river valley - in some of the higher parts the Forestry Commission are felling and re-planting, but most of the trees we saw were obviously quite mature.
