PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.

After four days in the Arizona desert, and coming back to high temps for Oct in California, some refreshing rain would go down a treat!
ReplyDeleteYou'd be welcome to it Lynn - just never seems to stop for long - then the next low pressure arrives - weather all over the world seems to be off kilter. We've got off quite lightly really as the rain bands pass over us so quickly whereas further up country it's been really bad.
DeleteDon't know if this link will work for you in USA but it's of the army blowing up an old wartime Parachute mine that was found by divers somewhere near the mouth of The Helford.

That was interesting - just think of all the boats which have passed over it for decades going in and out of the Helford - the customs cutter and all the day trip boats up to Frenchman's Creek, not to mention all the sail boats.
