After a lots more heavy showers overnight we awoke to some lovely sunshine - whilst I was taking this shot I noticed Wooster was gazing longingly down at the beach
Well - it did look inviting !
We were pondering whether or not to chance it and go to Falmouth for the Oyster Festival when this cloud appeared and nearly put us off
The clouds seemed to be staying out to sea, so we packed the car with a variety of coats and waterproofs and off we went.

It looks lovely with the sun shining. We eventually had a heavy downpour in the middle of the night, and now the "weather" has moved out and a high pressure is back in, so days more of top 70's temps and sun.
ReplyDeleteYes it's improved a bit and it was really pleasant on the beach this morning - sorry your rain didn't last long - at least our reservoirs are almost full so no worries there !
DeleteThought of you yesterday in Rick Steins as we sat and chatted to a couple who now live in Mawnan - only moved down same year as us 2003, but loving every minute !
Lovely views.....really enjoyed seeing the Falmouth pictures...first went there in 1965 on honeymoon...went again a few years back...lots of changes!!
ReplyDeleteWe've not been before - for various reasons - but we enjoyed it and will certainly go again next year. We love Falmouth anyway and often go over there in the Winter.
DeleteI must agree..we love Falmouth too!...but there again we love Cornwall fullstop!....just a pity it's so far from Norfolk!!
