The end of the rain, but lots of grey clouds still out there !

Still plenty of rain heading for Falmouth by the look of it

  1. Just amazing! Your super photos of beautiful Cornwall make me wonder why my ancestors left! (not really) I know they left in desperate times, but how they must have longed to be home to see this beauty again. Australia must have seemed very harsh in those early days!
Seems like you made the right choice and enjoyed the Oyster Festival. Very colourful and interesting.

    1. Morning Betty,
We were pleased that we went,we always enjoy a trip to Falmouth, but it was great to see it buzzing and really busy.
I think both Cornwall and Australia were both very harsh and difficult places to live and your ancestors had to go through the terrible journey to get to the other side of the world - such courage ro make the decision to try to find a better life. I see there's been snow in some areas down there - noticed Illawarra on the list of places that were forecast to get some - always seems strange to see it in print when we have to spell it out so often when giving out our adress !
Keep forgetting to say that we've really become fans of Masterchef Australia which is on over here on one of the Sky chanels - we record it so that we don't miss anything !
