Sorry - a quick walk in for the dogs as we had a busy morning planned with Jim taking me to Marks & Spencer and neither of us enjoying the trip at all - (not something to be repeated anytime soon !) - although Jim did enjoy his Costa coffee and coffee & walnut cake !
There has been some discussion on the Scillywebcam guestbook as to whether it's right to edit and improve the photos - this is what it really looked like !
This is the same view with just a little tweaking - know which one I'd rather see ! - but maybe I'm wrong !
Hi Sue,
ReplyDeleteGreat photos of the dogs at the beach. Is there a special day when dogs are allowed without lead?
I love the bright flowers in your recent post. What a lovely cheerful colour.
I agree, a little enhancement makes a big difference to photos. I like cropping pics. It can make a pic. much more interesting. Hope you are well and having a good week. I had a lovely afternoon at my son Neil's yesterday. The azalias and rhodos. looking lovely amongst tall trees.
Hi Betty - on many beaches in Cornwall dogs are banned altogether from Easter to 1st October - our area has a slightly different one - during the period of 1st May to 1st October they are banned from 8am to 7pm. so although they are allowed it's not at a time that suits us as in the (unlikely) event of us having a lovely warm evening the beach will have lots of barbecues etc. It's lovely to be able to go down there when we feel like it and in some years we've had super weather in October - not at the moment !
DeleteThe flowers on your blog look wonderful - our Hibiscus bushes only manages a few flowers this year. I really envy you your arrival into Spring and thoughts of lovely sunny Summer days. The nights are really drawing in here, it was almost dark at 7.30pm today. Sue
Sadly further south, it is now quite dark at 7pm. Now I want some of that coffee and walnut cake too!
ReplyDeleteGot dark even earlier today as it's pouring with rain yet again. The cake is delicious Jim's developed quite a passion for it !
DeleteAs for the bomb - wondered if it had been exposed by the bad storm that sunk that yacht recently. Well over 50 years underwater and it still went with a big bang ! Sue
