A road trip to ??

The red cliffs rather give it away as Devon
Looking across the water towards the edge of Exmouth
The amazing main rail line to the South West - so close to the sea and often photographed with huge waves crashing over it !
We were in Dawlish Warren - the very soft Red Sandstone is worn away more easily by the sea than most rocks.

  1. Love the pics of Devon today Sue, a reminder of Steam Rail Trips my son (Chris Jones), and I do in the Summer. That part of the line is so special! Was a lovely day for your drive too. Jane.

    1. Sadly Jane, we left the sun behind and it was cloudy most of the time, with just glimpses of sun- when we were driving home it appeared for a while rather low in the sky.
I've never been on the train along there, but son Nick has and he loved that part as well. Sue
