My intended shopping trip did not get off to a good start when the ??!!! that Jim bought to give me something to drive until the Yeti arrives, refused to start as it obviously doesn't like the damp Cornish Weather. After much swearing and grinding of teeth (I wanted a different one that cost a bit more !) Jim took me into Penzance and carried on to Tesco leaving me to shop and have a coffee whilst waiting to be collected.
As you can see Penzance was looking rather grey and grim (matching my mood !) and there were hardly any boats left in the harbour to brighten the scene
Scillonian III end to end in the dry dock whilst she has her Winter overhaul both to the engines and a complete re-fitting of the passenger areas.
Sorry that's all for today, by 3pm it was raining and we went to Godolphin Woods with the dogs and by then it was really pouring down.

I'm hoping the weather picks up Sue as I am down for a visit next week. Staying with my sister in Newlyn. She's just had an op. and so needs a bit of TLC. Looking forward to catching up with friends and family. Ann x
