We took the footpath to Mên-an-Tol as the dogs always love this area and we didn't really want to walk up as far as the Nine Maidens
It still looks like one hundred and one !

Another of my favorite walks. In May I took my husband there for the first time as well as to Lanyon Quoit, and it was such a beautiful day. How do you get to Nine Maidens? Is it up the same path, but just further?
ReplyDeleteHi Lynn, to get to Nine Maidens you carry on on the main track - past the right turn to Mêan-an-Tol and keep going - it's uphill and the rains have washed the footpath down deep in places, but good view when you get there and you can then walk towards the Greenburrow Engine House - best not to take the path that carries on past there and down towards Mên-an-Tol as you have to leap over a stream and I mean leap as the water is a couple of feet below ! DeleteBeen to these two ..looks like Tilly was playing hide-n-seek...nice day...suek
ReplyDeleteTilly was enjoying herself - the dogs always remember to go and stand on the stone stile & wait for us. Sue
