Godolphin Woods

We had really come to these woods to try to get some shots of the Autumn colours - but in the two days since we were last here all the beautiful coloures leaves had fallen off. This magnificent leaning Beech tree is surrounded by it's fallen leaves, but all the rest were past their best.
We really enjoyed the walk and went right up to the field above the woods which has a footpath all around the edge.

    1. Yes, it's a pity, but we still enjoyed the walk and the dogs would love to go every day - lots of friends and lovely scents to follow. Sue

  2. Lovely colours, but alas it doesn't last for long.
