Scillonian III passing the old Penlee Lifeboat House on her last trip of 2012
SCIII passing between Mousehole  and Arneborg - she's due to have a major refurbishment to her interior - as the powers that be think that with the loss of the helicopter she needs to be far more comfortable - could not see anything wrong with the way she is - it's not comfort people need, it's a faster and smoother journey and SCIII can never really do that !  She's also having major work on one of her engines during the Winter.   She'll be missed even more than usual by the island folk.

    1. Let's hope that we don't get a foggy or wet winter - real problem with the runway waterlogging at Lands End. Sue
