We drove to Chapel Porth, only to find both the cafe and toilets closed - and I was feeling rather queasy and thinking I might  really need the toilet !
You can really see how careful you have to be if you are thinking of moving to Cornwall - the Winter sun barely reaches some of these lovely spots at all - as with Sennen Cove.

  1. On the left side of the road going down to Chapel Porth beach is a yellow house where you can buy fresh crab. I found this out from a distant member of the family who lives in that area. Her house has a spectacular view down to Godrevy. I expect you have plenty of places to buy crab though on the south coast.

    1. Strangely enough, I don't eat crab at all and Jim doesn't have it at home much, but loves a crab sandwich for lunch when we're out in the Summer. The houses up at the top of the road have such a wonderful view - and get more sun.
Just as well the Cafe was closed yesterday as it would probably have made my food poisoning worse ! Sue
