While Jim was out with the dogs, I dared to open the patio doors and take a few shots of the raging sea. The main problem with going out onto the balcony in that kind of wind is getting the patio door shut  - Phew !
The killed off grass looking rather strange, but it really is that colour - would have thought it's rather early for planting potatoes, but I've noticed that all the fields along the coastal footpath to Trenow have been done as well. They've all usually planted and polythened just after Christmas
The gale force wind really whipping up the sea - the biggest gust registered on Lands End Weather was 51mph  - more of the same expected this week.

    1. Waves much to disorganised for the surfers - but there's not much that puts them off.

    1. Morning Betty, strangely it's still not at all cold for the time of year and the wind was from the South which helped. For us it's the Northerlys that bring the real chill - think we migh be getting some of that soon !
