PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.

Just as we got home I heard some bird chattering and there on the Teasels in our little field were a Charm of Goldfinches enjoying one of their favourite foods
They're Jims favourite birds and he walked right past them !

      Only learnt that murmuration is the word for the massive flock of Starlings that are around in Winter. Sue

  2. Do you know how these birds received their wonderful play of colours? When the Lord handed out the bird´s colours, the goldfinches were a little late - and then He sraped out the colourbuckets: here a red blob and there a yellow blob...

      They are so beautiful and some bred close to us this year which is nice. Need to find a way of feeding them that doesn't attract the Magpies - they're far too clever! Sue
