Two paddle boarders on their way down
Nice conditions for them

  1. I sat and watched the paddle boarders from the beach cafe while I ate my sausage baguette at lunchtime. That really is a pristine stretch of beach. Also bought a couple of things from the Christmas fayre by the church before heading off to Penzance. My acquaintance from the village garage in Mawnan told me how nice it was at Perranuthnoe...then I found your blog, so now i can really appreciate your photos.

    1. So pleased you made it Lynn, it is a lovely village in such a beautiful area of West Cornwall. The beach is very popular with people who live in the area, so it's often really busy on a fine Winter Sunday. We went to the fayre after our dog walk and Jim bought some delicious Ginger Cake.

  2. The baked goods were very impressive at the fayre, and I hope it was busier later on as I was the only person there around 1:30pm. On a longer trip I would love to meet up with you, but this time is very short and rushed. Still I was lucky to squeeze in a trip over before the end of the year.

    1. Ahh ! The baked goods are usually really good - so many talented people ! Just really glad that you made it to Perranuthnoe on your trip. Do hope you get all your errands done whilst you are over here. It was a bit busier at the fayre when we were there earlier than you - if it's a "do" in aid of a village fund then usually everyone turns up - I often wonder what they do with the cakes they don't sell ! Think Jim wished he'd bought two Ginger cakes ! Sue
