PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.
Just got back from spending a glorious week in your lovely village (cottage next to Brandy). Loved meeting all the dogs and people but sadly not you and yours. Never mind, we'll be back. We have the Perranuthnoe bug. Loved the walks, the beach (I spent hours taking photos especially the sunsets and the surfers). So many happy memories. Even the weather wasn't bad. What more could we wish for.

P.S Didn't have internet all week so no comments until now
So sad we didn't meet - probably haven't been out and about as much due to weather & Jim not feeling to good. I kept looking out for lady with camera and tripod ! I also love taking photos on the beach, but we don't go down there as much as we'd like because Wooster goes rather mad and chases every ball except his own ! Sue
ReplyDeleteNext time Sue, and there will be a next time. We loved it there. Funnnily enough I had my tripod but didn't use it once, I was too eager to get down to the beach. Did the walks either side of the beach too which were great. Bought a cake at the church fair, frequented the Victoria (more than once) and also the Cabin of course which was very near to us. You can guess where we were. Just keep putting the photos up and then we can imagine we are there with you.

I went to the fayre and Jim bought a lovely Ginger Cake, so we must have just missed each other.
DeleteI guessed where you were - couldn't be much closer to the beach !
So pleased you enjoyed yourselves - you just have to get out and make the best of a Winter holiday - which you obviously did ! Sue
