He's such a busy person at this time of year, so it wasn't long before he was off !
We may not have the big displays of Newlyn, Mousehole and some of the other villages, but it was a lovely evening and very well done to Andrea, Andrew and all their team who do so much behind the scenes to make it special for everyone !

We saw them putting the tree and lights up the day we left. What a shame we weren't a week later. It looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteThey've worked hard this year and it all looks super - really brightens up the village in these dark Winter days - or rather nights
DeleteThank you so much for the wonderful photo's of the Christmas lights in your village, we really feel the atmosphere. So pleased it stayed dry for the event, makes all the difference. THANK YOU.
ReplyDeleteSadly we didn't go to the gatherings (Craft Centre & Peppercorn & Victoria after) since we know that Norovirus has arrived in the village and we're cowards - well, we thought that since Jim had just been ill he could do without that ! We enjoyed the tree, carols and sausage rolls and came home ! Sue
DeleteWhat a lovely community to take the time to decorate the village. Christmas Eve in Durgan is similar, and we enjoyed walking down the lane to see their Santa arrive by boat, naturally.
ReplyDeleteThere are actually coach tours around the villages that put on a big show and it's quite sad when they're turned off. Mousehole switched on tonight again in reasonable but showery weather hope it went OK for them, forgot to open the curtains and take a look. Sue
DeleteWhat a lovely set of Seasonal photos Sue. The Christmas festivities certainly help to brighten up the dark Winter days. Glad to see Santa is keeping up to date with new technology ! Jane.
ReplyDeleteThe guys really went to town with their preparations this year and it was lovely ! Sue
