Sad to see another Tamarisk has hit the beach !
We've just realised that there should be two addits on the beach - the left one seems to have collapsed
Hadn't thought about how the Rabbits were coping with all the rain until I saw the water running out of the exposed end of a tunnel.

Unbelievable how much rain you have had. Even here there has been more than usual and we are an inch above the seasonal average with a huge snow pack in the Sierras, so maybe the drought will end.Happy New Year in 5 minutes!
ReplyDeleteIt should be drier for a few days now - but the warnings are that since the ground is so waterlogged everywhere, any heavy rain will tend to cause yet more flooding. Somerset and Worcester/Gloucester are looking awful.
DeleteI can still hear fireworks over towards Marazion/Penzance - Happy New Year to you & yours when it arrives over there ! Sue
Hope the rain has stopped now, at least for a while. With all of the slippages along the beach the coastline will be changing! Just as well it's relatively firm on the sand to take the dogs for their walk. Tilly always seems to enjoy racing around wherever you are! Seems to be plenty of room on the beach, most of the time.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your interesting daily posts. It's been great to look at your wonderful photos during the year. So pleased I found you!
Happy New Year to you and Jim!
I meant Wooster, of course!
ReplyDeleteMorning Betty, Happy New Year !
DeleteThere were more dogs and people down on the beach, but they were very spread out - in groups, chatting and letting the dogs play together. It's really good for the dogs to do lots of socialising - but Tilly likes to keep an eye on what's going on, whilst Wooster just dashes about like the youngster he is !
No real rain in the forecast for the next few days, so the ground will have a little time to dry out - there should be early potatoes going in at the moment, but no chance !
