The Old Vicarage - St Clement

We had a go at drying the dogs and fed them and put them into the car so that we could visit the Cafe at The Old Vicarage. We'd been given a voucher for a cream tea there, but it was lunchtime and there was Turkey on the menu, so we were cheeky and "traded in" our voucher for these wonderful Turkey, cranberry and stuffing paninis - followed by warm Chocolate cake with clotted cream Corr ! I'm afraid we'd eaten it before we remembered about a photo !
It was lovely to meet old friends from Tresillian there and good to catch up on their news - Bob had me beaten by having had both knees done - and they'd also got a new dog to replace Charlies old friend.   It was good to see the garden cafe so busy, they really deserve to succeed.
Then it was off to Sainsburys - which is what we really came to Truro for ! Sadly they didn't have Jims biscuits either !

  1. How lovely to have lunch in such a pretty place as St Clement. The bird pictures are wonderful.

    1. So good to be able to go back to our old haunts to walk the dogs and to now have this super little cafe. Ultra modern, but the food is cooked on a huge Aga - super mixture of old & new. The full Christmas Lunch looked really good, but we had shopping to do !
