That is beautiful!Seems very early...ours are all budded up and the blue tits delight in pulling them off!macca
ReplyDeleteI think the single Cammelias are often Winter flowering - down here, in Tresillian we had lots of them and they flowered from December until late Spring - they might not like the cold weather that we are all forecast to have by the weekend. Hope it's not going to be too cold over there in the East !
DeleteThe Blue Tits are very cheeky - they used to peck off all the buds on our Victoria plum tree in Leics.
Looking very nice Sue I Believe your right all the Camellias in Trewidden and Trengwainton gardens start flowering in December in the past we have had them flower in November in our garden.
ReplyDeleteReally hope we don't get the forecast frost - it would be so sad to see these early starters all browned. I suppose that Trewidden & Trengwainton have more shelter for their wonderful gardens than we have here - we have one Cammelia and it never does very well - doesn't like the wind I suspect !.
