We thought that the tide was coming back in as Jim went on his usual walk to get as far as possible along towards Trevean.
But when we returned for our second trip along the beach (with Molly the working Cocker) even more sand had appeared
and Jim found that there were banks of sand where we've not seen them before - I think that we now know exactly where much of the beach went - it just moved along a bit and will hopefully move back.
The problem with walking that far down the beach is getting back without wet feet or wet foot !
Ace waiting to see if Anthony can jump far enough !

  1. Wow! What a lovely big beach. I wanted to find the anchor that I gather is half buried somewhere on the beach but I had no idea where. With a big tide like that I could have hours looking for it. Wet feet ....ugh. Another reason to wear wellies (although they are slippery on the rocks). You can't win really.
    Lovely set of pics. Thanks

P.S We've had a sprinkling of snow today though it has now disappeared.

    1. Sure was a big beach - really good to get down there in a bit of sunshine - much cooler than of late, but still enjoyable. Hadn't heard about the anchor ! Sue

    1. Hadn't seen that before ! Trouble is with the sand moving about so much it might not be visible again for many years.
