and the plaque

  1. The house with the stone pillars is one of my favorites in Cornwall, but I have never read the plaque before, so thanks for posting that. Very interesting.
Do you have any favorite houses in Cornwall -besides your own of course?

    1. Jim did have a favourite house in St Clement - Called Condurro Cottage, it had a wonderfully shaped thatched roof and a balcony overlooking the river with Wisteria around it. Sadly it was sold and the roof replaced with tiles and the Wisteria has been hacked back & will probably not flower again - rather sad - Jim would have moved there in an instant ! My personal favourite is in Marazion - I just love it's position & facilities, it was for sale at a price of £1.8 million - nice !

  2. Another of mine is a house to the left of the Trelissick side of the King Harry Ferry. I lived close to it on the Trelissick estate while I was at school in Truro, and I always coveted its riverside location.

    1. Yes that's a lovely house in a superb spot.
I meant to say that my favourite in Penzance is The Egyptian House - haven't taken a photo for a while, but it's so very unusual. Sue
