Each late afternoon we've been seeing the huge gathering of Starlings flying towards Marazion Marsh - where they tend to overnight. It's an amazing noise of swooshing feathers if they fly low overhead
and as you can see, it's tricky to get the camera level.
I'm off to have a lovely hot jacuzzi bath, followed by soaking in radox - no, you can't do the two together - as Jim knows well - think acres of bubbles !
Hi Sue, Hope your back has improved by now. Love the flower pics. The blue Iris is a favourite of mine too. Don't have one in the garden, but must get one for next winter. Must be great to see so many starlings in a big group like that. You don't get to see such things in the city. Sometimes a group of screeching cockatoos invade from the nearby hills. They've been known to damage wooden structures like pergolas, verandah posts etc. with their strong beaks.
Hope you had time for some pancakes today.
ReplyDeleteWe did ! I'm just a sugar & lemon lady, but Jim loves cinamon as well. I'd forgotten how lovely they are !
