Amazing light on St Michael's Mount with such a dark sky behind
Such a contrast of colours
Jim was very dedicated to keep stopping to take these as the rain was approaching fast - and he just got home before it came down in torrents - followed by hail !

  1. Hi Sue, love the shot of the Mount lit up in this "weird weather". Certainly makes for interesting photography! Jane.

    1. It really can be spectacular when the light is like this and the weather is misbehaving ! Pity the footpaths are all slippery again. Sue

    1. The clouds really were that dark, so the sontrast of the sun was quite amazing. Think Jim was rather glad that they got back in the dry after he had seen just how bad the rain and hail was !

    1. One of the best things of living in Perranuthnoe is seeing The Mount from almost every walk we do. Keep meaning to do the walk from Friendship Woods right through to River Valley - Jim did it a couple of years ago - looks such a peaceful spot.

  4. Lovely photos as always. I dread to think how heavy the downpour was when it finally arrived. I bet even the dogs were hrrying to get home.

    1. It really was torrential rain - followed by hail - really nasty - the dogs would have been hiding under a bush it they'd have been out in it. - Looks like the rain we had earlier seems to have ground to a halt along the South Coast - nasty ! Sue
