Just had to take some photos of the flowers as I walked down St Piran's Way - still some beautiful Winter/Spring Iris in flower
and in the same garden this beautiful blue Rosemary
I actually did a double-take as I passed this Agapanthus flower - it's not huge, but I've never seen one flower this early in the year

    1. I suppose the Agapanthus really do hate hard frost - which you've had in abundance ! Even our Arum Lilly leaves have survived so far - the first couple of years we were here they flowered in January - no signs of flower buds yet ! Sue

  2. Lovely blue flowers today. The Iris is a favourite and I wish I had the deeper blue Rosemary. It looks much prettier than the light blue. Strange to see the Agapanthus flowering on it's own. Usually mid-summer flowering here. I love the Aubretia you showed recently. Thanks for sharing these lovely flower photos.

    1. A while ago I took a piece of the lovely blue Rosemary (with Joyce's permission of course !) and managed to get it to root, but sadly it didn't thrive - must try again.
As for the Agapanthus - it's a very mature clump and possibly the flower was forming last Autumn and stopped until it warmed up a bit - although it certainly wasn't warm today !.
