Well Scillonian III did eventually appear out of the mist - well almost !
Sadly the light was getting really bad and this was the best I could do !
She was going to have to wait quite a while for the gates to open to allow her back into the wet dock - so she then carried out a towing exercise with the Penlee Lifeboat, which was successful . The lifeboat at idle / low revs managed to tow the ship at 3.8 knots from the bow. Then towed her from the stern at 2.6 knots .
She then went for another trip around the bay & later going back into her berth alongside the road in Penzance
