    1. I gather from the Falmouth Packet that there were floods all over the place yesterday and overnight. Same places as before Newlyn, Helston, Tresillian River area etc although not quite as bad as before - but more rain expected today !
I expect your Bittern is one from Marazion Marsh who has got fed up of the weather & the Culdrose helicopters which the RSPB say are disturbing the birds - couldn't be all the cutting and burning of reeds I suppose ! Sue

  2. Good morning, Sue.
Obviously we choose the right time to visit Perranuthnoe, the pictures we took during a visit to Trengwainton Gardens on Feb. 20th are quite similar to those you took last year, Magnolias, Camelias and Rhododendrons full in bloom with the contrasting blue skies behind.
We still have a bit of snow although it's melting now, but two days ago we had constant snowfall for more than 24 hours.
We all hope that this long lasting winter now comes to an end, it is such a difference to last year.

All the best and again thanks for all those lovely pictures from our beloved Perranuthnoe

    1. We expected more rain for most of the day, but here it finished at 10am and we had a lovely warm sunny day - unlike most of the country which is really suffering with the snow.
Supposed to be getting colder now - possibly for the next week.
It would have been lovely to have a fine and warm Easter so that the visitors come and spend their money - it's been a long hard Winter for everyone ! Sue
