These low lying woods get flooded very quickly, but the dogs still seemed to enjoy the outing !
I suspect they were not very impressed with having to go out in the rain yet again this afternoon - we went to Godolphin Woods this time - which was also in a similar state and the roads have streams of muddy water running along them and lots of large "lakes" for Jim to drive through - definitely a job for the Freelander !
Seems hard to believe that I posted this a year ago - the first barbecue of the year Hmm !
To help cheer us all up I've sorted through some of the photos we took when we visited Trewidden Garden. Penzance at this time of year !
Seems like snow headed for most of the country too. What a long winter you are having. My New York daughter is also fed up with the endless snow this year.
ReplyDeleteWe've been lucky not to have the snow that has been giving the rest of the country so much trouble. But more rain is just what we didn't need.
DeleteSuch a pity as when the sun shines it really feels like Spring - hope it really arrives for all of us soon !
Just seen the BBC news...Cornwall looks pretty awful,Newlyn looks bad ,do hope you are OK.Any walkies today?keep safe.macca
ReplyDeleteReally odd - woke up to rain and a forecast saying that it might clear West Cornwall by late afternoon - suddenly brightened up around 10am so off I went - quickly up the hill as the footpath drains much better than most of the others ! Wooster woke up feeling a bit poorly with his insides really growling, so he was very quiet on the walk, but then felt a bit better and ate his breakfast !
DeleteHad to cancel my trip on SCIII - weather too bad for a day trip - very cold and Easterly wind - they were vevry kind and refunded all my money. Sue
