PERRANUTHNOE is a small village on the South Coast of Cornwall, just East of Marazion, there is a Car Park and sloping access to a safe sandy beach and the beachside Cabin Cafe. It has The Victoria Inn a superb multi award winning pub, which serves super food both lunchtimes & evenings, - a Church dating back as far as 1160. The Lynfield Centre which houses The Cowhouse Gallery, The Peppercorn Cafe and a hairdressers.

An unusual visitor !

I was sitting at the PC when I noticed an unusual small black shape way out in Mount's Bay in between the ships at anchor - I looked through the scope and saw it was a submarine - not seen one in Mount's Bay before.
Mystery solved by Mike - it was   HNLMS  Walrus-class boat (Dutch navy) Thanks Mike !
You can spot some of the crew out on deck forward of the conning tower
Passing 295m long  Pacific Argosy she looks quite small

    Hi Sue we have seen subs in the bay before, A few years ago Julie and I had one surface 1/2 a mile away from Louby now that was a strange feeling

      I'm obviously not observant enough ! They must have to be very careful with so much shipping (and yachts !) around the coasts !
