What a brilliant set of photos today. The light is really interesting. Less than 12 hours and we will be on our way and as we can't get the internet where we are won't be able to comment. I'll just wave instead :)
ReplyDeleteIt was a super day - lovely walk and then Jim managed to re-roof the shed as it had been started & not finished due to bad weather & and the old one had blown off yesterday !
DeleteHave a safe trip & hopefully we'll see when you're down here ! Sue
Beautiful pictures...the colours are wonderful, several years since we have had a skylark in the field behind us...no swallows yet ! See what you mean't about the gusts(yes! they did arrive !)the wind actually blew the bluetits box right round (perhaps they think they are in Australia !)thanks Sue.
ReplyDeleteAaw ! bless, have a wonderful mental picture of the Blu Tits wondering why everything is upside down ! Any Swallows seen here at the moment are heading much further North, hopefully ours will arrive soon, as love to see them when they zoom around under the trees after the insects that gather under there. Sunshine and a few fluffy clouds this morning with less wind. Sue
DeleteThey don't seem to have suffered any ill effects, the box is slightly straighter and they are in and out...phew!relief!Wells was glorious today, clear blue sky, lots of water at the quay, bit of a spiteful wind.No sign of a plaque in the woods saying 'Sue was here'!!macca.
ReplyDeleteSo pleased that the Bluetits are OK - tough little guys.
DeleteI should think the local Twitchers would remembers us - although it was a long time ago !
We arrived on the Car Park and were just setting off with our first Pointer - Willoughby who was bred as a working dog - he went off & flushed a bird that a big crowd of twitchers were looking at - still they got a good look - as it flew off he he ! Sue
