The view from the cattle field looking over Trebarvah Farm - fortunately the cattle were all in the barn, so I was quite happy to walk carefully over the field
The wet Summer followed by even wetter Winter has left this field in a really bad state - fortunately it is at least dry and the number of walkers who have followed the path have at least trodden it down a little
I recognise that field. We walked across it too from the other way and my eyes were darting around trying to find the inhabitants, but gladly they too were in the barn. I don't trust cows I'm afraid, but I like looking at them from the other side of the fence.

Since we have dogs with us, we are very wary ! most of the problems you read about happen to folk with dogs - our are very relaxed around animals, but we decided long ago that it might be the black & white patterning on them that attracts them - we have been actually chased by some large bullocks on Rosemullion Head - snorting and pawing the ground stuff (like a bull in a bullring)! Once we were the other side of the gate we watched others with brown/black dogs walk past with no problem.
DeleteIt's the fear of tripping on the uneven ground that's scary. Nothing much left for them to eat on the field, so hopefully they are in the barn most of the time !
