Lovely day Sunday....saw our first Swallows,House Martins and Swifts this year....seems later than usual.Wells very busy so didn't get to the pinewoods.Very wet and cold today, better check on anything we need for Scilly !,not long for you now Sue ! Loved to see Wooster watching Springwatch ,must admit I did prefer Bill Oddie and Kate Humble (especially when it was based in Devon and then Pensthorpe in Norfolk)wonderful filming again.Nice to catch up with your lovely photo's.macca.
ReplyDeleteSo pleased that the hirundines have found their way to Norfolk - most of the ones we saw earlier were on their way much further North - the Trebarvah ones were much later.
DeleteI do agree with you on Springwatch - I'm mainly watching to see the footage of the Ospreys on the Dyfi as I've seen all the footage on the small PC screen. Not too keen on Chris Packham - always talks as if he knows it all - and then often gets it wrong ! - remember him with a punk hairdo on childrens TV. Sue
